One minor dead, four hurt in grede blast at Diphu

DIPHU, January 19: One minor died and four other children received multiple injuries in a suspected grede explosion at a residence at Sasanghat at Diphu in Karbi Anglong on Tuesday. As per information, the children were playing with a toy at a residence at Sasanghat when the toy exploded. The deceased have been identified as Tumi Begum (2 years 6 months) and the injured persons are Abdul Hasim Choudhary ( 6) Halakjan Nessa (13), Azif Choudhury (10) and Makabir Islam (6).
