Open Tennis begins in Jorhat Tennis Club

JORHAT: The 27th Jorhat Open Tennis got under way at the Jorhat Tennis club today. The competition was inaugurated by Debasish Mitra, Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India (Administrative Office) in a well attended inaugural function.

In his inaugural address Mitra appreciated the environment and maintenance of Jorhat Tennis Club. He is also adviced the young boys and girls to train and work with sincerity and dedication to achieve a high level of performance in the coming years.

Isanjyoti Bordoloi, Secretary of Jorhat Tennis Club, led the inaugural programme which was also addressed by Paban Bordoloi, Chairman (I/C), Jorhat Municipal Board and Raktim Saikia, President of Jorhat Tennis Club and All Assam Tennis Association.
