Our Correspondent

TINSUKIA, May 29: As per the Supreme Court ruling, the Tinsukia District Transport Office (DTO) has asked the owners of all old vehicles in Tinsukia district to install High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) within August 31. The DTO of Tinsukia, Arun Borah said the tamper-proof HSRP would not only facilitate curbing of vehicle theft but also of tracing of vehicles involved in road accidents. The HSRP has a hot-stamped chromium-based chakra hologram with a laser identification number which will prevent counterfeiting.
