Paintings gifted

SARUPATHAR, June 24: Nityananda Sarkar, resident of Barpathar village, gifted some paintings to the office of the Subdivisional Officer, Dhansiri, Sarupathar. The paintings are of former Presidents of India. The artist gifted those paintings recently on Rabha Divas. Sarkar has started painting 40 years ago and he has made around 20,000 paintings and statues of freedom fighters. For his gift to the office of the Subdivisional Officer, SDO (C) Bipul Das felicitated him with a phulam gamosa.
