Palak Alam Puria brings laurels to gaon, secures 9th rank

GAON (HAIBORGAON), May 31: Palak Alam Puria of gaon Christjyoti School on Wednesday brought laurels to gaon district by securing the 9th rank in the HSLC examition. She obtained total marks 581 out of total 600 marks. Her percentage is 96.83 per cent. Palak scored 96 marks in Hindi (MIL), 96 marks in English, 100 marks in General Mathematics, 99 marks in Advanced Mathematics, 97 marks in General Science and 93 marks in Social Science. She is the daughter of businessman, Rajendra Alam Puria and Sakhi Alam Puria of Haiborgaon near Hanuman Mandir in gaon town.

In an interaction with some local media persons here, Palak said that she wanted to be an advocate and would take admission in Commerce stream in gaon district. She further said that she used to study for about 10 to 12 hours regularly before examition and also took private tuition in every subject. She added, “The key factor to success is self-confidence and for this god’s blessing is also important.”
