Pallav guides Assam to victory

GUWAHATI, Jan 9: Pallav Kumar Das displayed an all round performance and guided Assam to victory against Railway in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket tourment match held at Baroda today. Pallav first picked up two wickets in the game and later played 43 balls 77 runs (8X4,3X6) innings which helped Assam to earn second victory in the competition. Syed Mohammed was the other players in the team who contributed well with the bat. The left handed batsman remained not out on 36. Earlier young pacer Mrinmoy Dutta (3-23)  and Amit Verma (3-20) bowled nicely and to restrict Railway to 142-8 in their 20 overs.
