Pan Engti beat Hills United to lift Inter Club Football title

HOWRAGHAT, Sep 4: The Inter Club Football League, organized by Howraghat Sports Association, has concluded today. The fil match was played between Pan Engti Sports Football Club and Hills United Football Club. The match was officially iugurated by Tuliram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member (CEM), KAAC in presence of Kharsing Engti, Minister for Hills Area Development (HAD) government of Assam.

 In the first half Pan Engti FC scored a goal Hills United Club. Though the Hills United FC maged to return the goal in second half but at the end of the match a goal was again given by Pant Engti Sports Club and won the match by 2-1.

 It may be mentioned here that attending the Inter Club Football fil match, Kharsing Engti announced to provid Rs 10,000.00 to 16 football clubs participated in the football league in order to encourage the players.

Seeking public support, Engti urged players to play proactive roll in the filed of sports. Besides, Tuliram Ronghang, CEM, KAAC and Ashok Teron, EM, KAAC also assured to assist players providing required sports materials.

Later, players like Anil Terang, Sunil Terang, Amit Basumatary and Labish Marak declared as best goal scorer, man of the match, best goal keeper and man of the tourment. They were given cash money with trophies by the dignitaries like Premala Beypi, EM, KAAC, Sarat Brahma, EM, KAAC, Mongalsing Timung, EM, KAAC, Ashok Teron, EM, KAAC and Bhuban Chandra Pathak, EM, KAAC.

The runner up team was provided Rs 3000 thousand with trophy and the champion of the tourment was given running trophy with cash Rs 5000.00.
