Panchayat contractual employees meet held

ITANAGAR, July 21: Parliamentary Secretary for RD, PR and IPR and Printing Mama Natung along with Minister for PR Alo Libang graced the first ever state level convention of the Panchayat contractual employees held at State Banquet Hall here on Saturday. The All Arunachal Panchayati Raj Contractual Employees Forum (AAPRCEF) proposed a one-point memorandum to the PS and Minister for RD and PR for the creation of post and service regularization through appropriate executive order for all the 1320 contractual staff working under the department. Speaking on the occasion, Mama Natung said, though it will take time to work on the regularization of contractual employees under the department but will look into the matter and put the matter before the Chief Minister. Phase wise regularization is quite possible but permanent regularization of all in one go is impossible, Mama said. He also asked the workers to cooperate with the department rather calling for any kind of agitation.
