Panic over baby born with 'abnormal' features

HOJAI, February 8: A baby with alleged abnormal features was born recently at Hojai FRU(First Referral Unit) Hospital which created sensation in the area. Since it was the local market day, people gathered in large numbers at the hospital to have a look at the baby which was kept in the incubator. The male child is under intensive care and the doctors attending to him said that the cause of the deformities in the baby would be investigated. They urged people not to panic or give in to superstitious beliefs.
