Panidehing facing jumbo mece

DEMOW, November 3: Under Demow Circle Office in Panidehing Mouza, during the last few days a herd of wild elephants have been creating panic among the farmers of the mouza.  The wild elephants come out from the forest at night in search of food and enter Dalapa, Milankur, Sitali, Samukjan, Ujani Milankur, Kokilamari and Ajanti areas and create havoc by destroying agricultural lands and eating crops of the poor farmers. The affected villagers have urged the Forest Department many times to take steps but the forest department has allegedly failed to address the issue, alleged the villagers.
