Papul gives first medal to Assam

GUWAHATI, Feb 2: Weight lifter Papul Changmai gave first medal to Assam in the 35th tiol Games held at VKN Indoor Stadium, Thrissur today. Papul, who took part in men 69 kg category, won gold medal lifting 125kg in stch and 159 kg in jerk on the second day of the championship. Ramkrish Moida (Andhra Pradesh) and Rengaraj R (Tamil du) collected silver and bronze medal respectively in this event.Assam Weightlifting Association congratulated Papul for his medal winning performance in the tiol Games.
