Paramanda Rajbongshi records statement

JOYSAGAR, March 6: Paramanda Rajbongshi, former general secretary of AXX, formally recorded his statement before the I/O of Sivasagar PS on Saturday in connection with the case registered by the general secretary of AXX, Abani Chaharia on February 9. An FIR was lodged in the Sivasagar Sadar PS on February 9 by AXX general secretary in-charge Abani Chaharia regarding the shocking manhandling incident which took place in front of the main gate of Jerenga Pather where the AXX’s special centery celebration was organized. Rajbongshi came to Jerenga Pather at night on February 8 and some unidentified miscreants manhandled him in front of the main gate of the entrance. Rajbanshi stated before the I/O of the case and also the in-charge of Joysagar PS about the events of that evening and also submitted a video CD to the police where some photographs along with the voices of the miscreants were captured during the incident, sources revealed.
