Parking slot for weekly market demanded

MERAPANI, Dec 17: Jamuguri weekly market is an important market of Golaghat district. It is situated on the outskirts of Golaghat town near Jamuguri railway station. But this busy market needs a proper parking lot. The weekly market is the focal centre for both buyers and sellers as well as the wholesalers and retailers. Most of the people sell their agricultural products in the market. But there is no proper parking lot for bicycles, motorcycles and even goods carriers. This results in traffic congestion and chaos. The Jamuguri PS is located near to the market but no steps have been taken to mitigate this problem. Conscious people have urged for constructing a parking lot for the convenience of buyers and sellers as well as people of the area.
