Parliamentary Secretary Sushanta Borgohain visits Demow

DEMOW, November 3: Sushanta Borgohain, Parliamentary Secretary of the Home Department as well as MLA of Thowra Constituency, iugurated the repair work of a swimming pool situated at Demow Raichai Rural Stadium on Tuesday. In the presence of Birendra Mittal, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Sivasagar district, the Parliamentary Secretary iugurated the repair work under the scheme of Assam Government State Planning. A meeting was organized which was presided over by Tilak Khaklari, and Chandan Jyoti Phukan spoke about the aims and objectives of the meeting. Both the persons were felicitated with a gamosa by the Demow Swimming Association. The DC along with the Parliamentary Secretary said that after the repair work in the swimming pool, swimmers would be benefitted.
