Patanjali Yog Samiti observes Intertiol Yoga Day

UDALGURI, June 21: The Intertiol Yoga Day was observed at Udalguri Durga Puja mandap with pomp and gaity.

The Udalguri district committee of Patanjali Yoga Samiti and Bharat Swabhiman Trust organized a yoga programme at Udalguri Durga Puja Mandap, Noi, Khairabari, Majbat, Bandarguri and Kopati area. The central programme at Udalguri Durga Puja Mandap was guided by Puspadhar Sarmah, the Principal of Udalguri Higher Secondary School as yoga guru and also attended by Rakheswar Brahma, the former MLA of Majbat constituency, Dr. Ganesh Brahma among others.

On the other hand, the Udalguri district administration also organized a programme comprising school students and local people.
