Pathsala gets one rank holder

PATHSALA, May 31: Like previous years, this year also Pathsala has been able to shine with brilliant performance in the HSLC exam. A student of Andaram Borooah Academy School of this town has become able to grab a position in the HSLC examition. Joytishmita Kalita (583) secured 7th position. She is the daughter of Rudra Kalita, Associate Professor of NH College, Patacharkuchi and mother Kabita Das works at Tangala LP School as a teacher.

Joytishmita said that she would study in the Arts stream from Andarm Borooah Academy College, Pathsala. “My aim is to be a good teacher or administrative officer,” she said. Dr Ranjit Deka, Rector-cum-Principal of the instruction and teachers expressed happiness at the performance of the student. Pabindra Deka, MLA of Patacharkuchi constituency, arrived at the school and congratulated Joytishmita. In the HS examition this year, this institution produced three rank holders.
