Pathsala Press Club observes Sankardev tithi

PATHSALA, September 4: The Pathsala Press Club organized a programme on the occasion of the tithi of Srimanta Sankardev at Bajali College pond in Pathsala on Saturday. During the programme, Khagen Chandra Roy of Dakshin Muguria village under Barpeta district exhibited a wonderful feat by keeping the Gu Mala Puthi on his chest while he floated on water like a plank for almost two hours. A lot of people from nearby areas gathered to witness the feat. The programme was iugurated by Joydeep Mahanta.
