Patients develop complications after administered saline

DEMOW, April 19: The condition of six patients in Demow Model Hospital at Raichai turned critical on Tuesday afternoon after they were allegedly administered saline. After administering saline, the six patients, including children and women, started shivering. Tension prevailed in the hospital due to this. The doctors immediately provided treatment and the condition of the patients improved. The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Demow Regiol Committee  reached Demow Model Hospital and slammed the State Government for this incident and also warned the State Health Department not to play with the lives of patients. The State Government should examine the saline bottles, said Rita Chetia, GNM of Demow Model Hospital.
