Pay commission visits Northeast

Shillong, May 12: The Seventh Central Pay Commission (CPC) visited the Northeast region from May 8 to 12 for interaction and to obtain inputs / views from the environment.  During their visit, the team interacted with a wide array of stake holders from Central government services which included army, Indian Air Force, paramilitary forces and other central government organizations and their families.  The aim of these deliberations was to assist the CPC in assessing the problems faced by these entities, before filizing the recommendations.
