PB Goswami no more

Mr Prasan Badan Goswami, a prominent citizen of East Guwahati area and a resident of Chandmari, Krish gagar, Guwahati, breathed his last at a city nursing home on Thursday evening due to old age ailments. He was 80.

Hailing from ptipara area of lbari district, Goswami took his retirement as the Librarian of Assam Engineering Institute. A popular citizen of that locality, Goswami was actively associated with various socio-cultural organizations of the city.

Hundreds of people from various cross-sections of the society took part in the funeral procession that took out on Friday. Meanwhile, various organizations have condoled the demise of Goswami.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well wishers.
