PDS bill: Dolo lodges FIR

Itagar, Nov 19: Maya Dolo, wife of Pakke-Kessang MLA Kameng Dolo on Wednesday lodged a FIR at Itagar Police Station against irregularities and discrepancies in the payment of PDS bill by the state government. Maya, proprietor of M/S Maya Dolo firm in the FIR mentioned that her firm was awarded the contract of wholesale nominee cum carriage contractors for Pakke-Kesang. However, Likha Maj entered into an agreement with her to do the contract work on her behalf with his own investment and to pay her 30 per cent commission from the profit. Ironically, the state government recently released an amount of Rs 35,05, 93000/- to the firm and the payment was drawn by Maj without paying her, the FIR said.

“There is a huge corruption and bribery which is evident from the list of kickback recipients which has baffled us against this huge scale corrupt practice led by the present Chief Minister bam Tuki,” the FIR added. The FIR copy along with copies of six cheques was made available to the Press.
