PDS rice seized

MARGHERITA, May 7: Members of Brihottar Asomiya Yuba Mancha of Tinsukia district on Saturday seized 229 bags of rice meant for distribution to fair price shops.Two rice-laden trucks meant for distribution at fair price shops were coming from the Food Corporation godown, Tinsukia but unfortutely one truck fled from there but the members of Brihhotar Asomiya Yuba Mancha maged to seize the truck. Margherita Police later seized the rice and truck. Investigation is on.
