Peaceful demonstration against Silapathar incident

DIGBOI, March 7: Digboi Unyan Samity, supported by various indigenous associations and organizations, on Tuesday staged a peaceful demonstration here at Swahid Bedi Tili condemning the act of vandalizing the AASU office at Silapather in Dhemaji district on Monday evening by activists of Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samany Samiti (NBBUSS). The mass protest rally witnessed wide participation from various walks of life and vehemently condemned the violence triggered by NBBUSS and warned the BJP-led government in Assam to immediately prosecute the culprits for the best interest of the indigenous people of the State.
