40 year-old mother of 4 daughters, Muri Linggi scaled 29,029 feet tall Mt. Everest recently. Hailing from Roing, Muri has become 3rd woman from Arunachal Pradesh to climb the world’s highest peak & to hold the tricolor. She also held a placard with “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” message. She has scaled Gorichen Peak (2017) & Peak Menthosa in Himachal Pradesh. She did a basic mountaineering course from NIMAS, West Khameng (2013), & an advanced course from Darjeeling (2016).
