People demand stay order on transfer of Dergaon Circle Officer

Golaghat (Dhekial), August 1: The people and organizations under Dergaon Revenue circle expressed sharp reaction after getting information of the punishable transfer of Dergaon Revenue Circle Officer on Tuesday by submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat.

The public came out in protest against the transfer of Circle Officer Chanda Baruah. They alleged that due to political conspiracy, an efficient officer like Chanda Baruah had become a victim.

The people of Dergaon and organizations like Asom gorik Sanmilan, KMSS, Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha, CMSS and Sangrami Yuba  demanded immediate stay order within 24 hours otherwise they threatened to call Golaghat bandh.
