People fed up with BPF, yearning for change: UPP

KALAIGAON, March 9: All political parties are trying to woo the voters of No. 65 Kalaigaon and No. 65 Kalaigaon LAC ahead of the 2016 assembly election.

The newly-formed United People’s Party (UPP) organized an election meeting on Wednesday in the premise of Kalaigaon AABSU office. More than 500 supporters were present in this meeting which was presided over by Antiny Basumatary. Babul Basumatary has been nomited as a candidate of Kalaigaon LAC. He is the general secretary of United People’s Party (UPP).

Addressing the meeting, Basumatary said that no political party tried to develop for Kalaigaon since long 69 years. People were fed up with the BPF rule and they were yearning for change in the BTAD region. “The corrupt image of BPF will ensure defeat of its candidate in this area,” he added. He also said that BPF would not win a single seat in BTAD. Kalaigaon AABSU, Khairabari AABSU  and Kabirali AABSU leaders took part in this meeting and they urged the people to support the UPP for all-round development in BTAD.
