People rejecting BJP, Congress will form government again: Anjan Dutta

GAURISAGAR, February 28: “The Tarun Gogoi-led Congress government has been working for all round development of the State. We do not lay foundation stones in the me of politics. But BJP has been indulging in emotiol politics,” said APCC president and Amguri MLA  Anjan Dutta while iugurating a community hall on Sunday at Chaing Soribari under Gaurisagar Development Block in Sivasagar, constructed under MLA Area Development and ZP fund at the cost of Rs 13 lakh.

Addressing the gathering Dutta strongly criticized the BJP and he even challenged BJP State president Sarbanonda Sonowal to publish publicly the sanctioned amount and letter of the four bridges to be constructed in Assam whose foundation was laid by Union Road Transport and Highway Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday. He said that the BJP now was a party of people from AGP and Congress. The people were now rejecting the BJP and the Congress would form government in Assam again, said Dutta.

Dutta added that on Monday senior AGP leaders would formally join the Congress in Guwahati. He said that in BTAD the Congress would get more seats. The meeting was chaired by Chandra Kanta Gogoi, president, Morabazar Samabai Samiti. In the meeting Mumai Tamuli Mondal Congress Committee felicitated Anjan Dutta for his contribution towards development of the area. Noted artist Anjan Phukan was also felicitated.

Earlier, 12 AGP workers in Charing Baruwati area formally joined the Congress. Dutta publically declared  the community hall in the me of Sarukon Gogoi, a social worker of the locality.
