DEMOW, Jan 1: On Monday, people of Demow celebrated the New Year by thronging various picnic spots.
The day was sunny and people went to Dehingmukh near Demow, along with other picnic spots, and celebrated the New Year with picnic revelry. However, most shops of Demow were closed on Monday.
