People urged to avoid Chinese products

DEMOW, October 29: Under the leadership of Barun Bikash Phukan, president and Gitartha Chetia, general secretary of Demow Rural Mandal Yuba Morcha of Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP), a procession was taken out on Saturday morning with placards from the BJP office. The activists urged the people of Demow to avoid Chinese products and buy Indian products. Near the ASTC bus stand, the Bharatiya Jata Yuba Morcha Demow Town and Rural activists burnt Chinese products and shouted various slogans and distributed earthen lamps to the people of Demow. In the programme, Subhash Sah, president and Amarjit Gogoi and Partha Pratim Konwar, general secretaries of Demow Town Mandal Yuba Morcha along with other activists were present.
