People urged to make Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a success

Tezpur, June 17: In a move to change the people’s mindset by creating awareness among them for proper sanitation and the most challenging task of collecting, dumping and destroying the waste materials of homes and industries without pollution by using the most modern scientific methods, techniques and equipments, a campaign on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized here at Kaklata Civil Hospital, Tezpur on Saturday under the aegis of District Legal Service Authority, Tezpur in association of District Health Service, Tezpur.
The campaign was attended by the Audri Bhattacharya, secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Tezpur, Dr. Durlav Saikia, District Health Service, Tezpur Dr. Nilakshi Das, Superintendent of Tezpur Kaklata Civil Hospital, security staff of SSB, staff of Kaklata Civil Hospital, students of Tezpur Staff Nursing School, among other dignitaries of Tezpur town.  
Attending the campaign, Audri Bhattacharya, secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Tezpur said that the mission was the need of the time considering the poor sanitation in the villages and cities throughout the country. “People should involve themselves wholeheartedly in the Swachh Bharat Mission and encourage others. People across the country should join the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to fulfill the dream of Mahatma Gandhi,” she further added.
Earlier, Dr. Durlav Saikia, District Health Service, Tezpur, while iugurating the campaign said that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was a tiol campaign. He further urged all sections of the society to come forward and contribute to make the tion clean and hygienic.
