Permanent Lok Adalat constituted in Tripura

Agartala, Dec 2 : Tripura State Legal Aid Authority has constituted a permanent Lok Adalat

under the chairmanship of a former judicial officer Subir Chandra Saha. Two other members of the permanent Lok Adalat are senior advocate Pankaj Bhattacharjee and retired professor Smrity Chakraborty.

Henceforth, the Lok Adalat will continue to deal with cases on a regular basis and it will function on all the days except government holidays from 10 am to 4 pm. A release issued by member secretary of the Legal Aid Authority B Palit said the permanent Lok Adalat has

been constituted for speedy disposal of long pending cases in all the courts across the state.
