Petrol bomb hurled

SHILLONG, Sept 25: Unknown miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a vehicle belonging to an MDC of Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council at Jowai in the wee hours of Monday. The Mahindra Bolero (ML04A-9002) belongs to Congress MDC Hermon from Wahiajer constituency, who is intending to support Jopthiaw Lyngdoh in the upcoming 2018 Assembly polls as a candidate from rtiang constituency. Police suspect the incident to be a fallout of political rivalry and said investigation was into the case.
