PEWS extends help to Dima Hasao youths

HAFLONG, May 9: To facilitate and to bring awareness among the youths of Dima Hasao in particular in regards to the Physiotherapy and medical sciences, Nursing etc, Purbanchal Educatiol Welfare Society (PEWS), a Guwahati based group of Institution organised a press meet at Land Mark Hotel, Haflong on Sunday. The meet was attended by Rupak Sharma, Treasurer, PEWS Group of Institution, Dr Ujwal Bhattacharya, Principal i/c College of Physiotherapy & Medical Science, Gitanjalee Buruka Deori, Principal i/c CPMS College of Nursing, and Lily Lalhlutmawli, Assistant Professor, CPMS College of Nursing apart from all the jourlists of Haflong.

While interacting with the jourlists they detailed the facilities would be provided to the students like campus placement etc. They also assured to extend their help for education loan through banks. Further they while appreciating the peaceful environment of the district and keen interest of the people, informed that they would also approach the N C Hills Autonomous Council for sponsoring the needy students so that they could pursue these courses for their better future.
