Physically challenged girl abducted

Golaghat, May 1: A physically challenged girl was allegedly abducted in the Hatiakhowa area of Golaghat district on Monday.  According to sources, Mainu Das, aged about 22 years, went out for offering puja at the nearby Shiva Mandir. While she was returning home, three youth in a black colour Indica car allegedly forced her inside the car, said eye witness. Local people also said that the abductors took off on the road to Guwahati. Police are making all efforts to rescue the girl.
