PIB to organize day-long workshop for the rural jourlists

MANGALDAI, June 27: The Press Information Bureau is going to organize a day-long workshop for the rural jourlists of Darrang district in association with the Darrang district administration on Thursday at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner. The main objective of the day-long workshop organized for the first time in the district is information dissemition among the local media fraternity about the three flagship programmes of the Central Government, mely  Goods and Services Tax (GST) , Beti Basao -Beti Padhao and  Pradhan Mantri Awash Yoja-Gramin (PMAY-G).

Deputy Commissioner of Darrang, Ashok Kr Barman will grace the iugural function scheduled from 11 am as the chief guest while Bhupesh Ch Das , Chief Executive Officer, Darrang Zilla Parishad- cum-Project Director, DRDA , Momshad Dinory , Superintendent of Tax , Mangaldai and Pulak th of India Postal Service will attend as the resource persons.
