PIB's Shillong office faces flak

SHILLONG, Jan 19: The Shillong based office of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has faced flak for delay in informing the media about the visit of Union Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan to Shillong on Monday. Union Minister arrived at the city on Monday and iugurated the Shillong Geophysical Research Centre of the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism. But the PIB office in Shillong sent the press release in this connection today that is one day after the arrival of the minister.
