Pickpocket arrested by Assam Police, valuables recovered, Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Aug 1: A team of Pan Bazar police on duty caught a pickpocket identified as Kushal Rabha (25) from near RBI bus stop on Wednesday allegedly for snatching a mobile phone and money purse from two passengers travelling in a city bus.

According to the police, the accused offender was trying to flee the spot after snatching the belongings of the two passengers. However, on witnessing the act, the staffers of the bus shouted at him and accordingly the police chased and caught him. The mobile phone and the purse were recovered.
