Piggery training held

Namrup, July 6: A daylong programme on piggery training was held on Thursday at Sipurua MV School, TingKhong. The programme was organised by State Veterinary Dispensary, Tingkhong in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dibrugarh on the topic ‘Scientific Methods of Pig Rearing for Parent Stock Farm’. KVK Dibrugarh senior scientist Dr Hiranya Bhattacharya, Veterinary Officer of Tingkhong Dr M K Phukan and KVK Dibrugarh scientist Supriya Sonowal graced the occasion as resource persons. A total of 26 interested pig farmers of Tingkhong took part in the programme.
