Pipeline blast of Assam Gas Company leads to gas leakage at Golaghat

GOLAGHAT, July 22: A tense situation prevailed in the Chokiting area of Golaghat on Sunday after gas leaked from a pipeline of Assam Gas Company. According to report, Assam Gas Company has been supplying gas to the Dakhinhengera Tea Factory. On Sunday, a pipeline burst in an agricultural land near Chokiting Railway Station. The people living nearby expressed fear and apprehension after gas started leaking from the pipeline. They alleged that despite getting information, the authority concerned has not taken appropriate action.
