Pique extends Barca contract

Barcelo, Jan 29: Star FC Barcelo defender Gerard Piqué on Monday extended his contract with the Catalan football giants until 2022.

"It's official - @3gerardpique has signed a new Barça contract until 2022," FC Barcelo tweeted.

The 30-year-old has been with the club since 2008. In his 424 appearances, he has helped Barcelo clinch the La Liga title six times and the Champions League thrice. IANS
