Pistol seized, one arrested at Kalatoli

GARAIMARI , March 9 : Police last night have arrested a person with a pistol and live ammunition at Kalatoli under  Chaygaon police station in Kamrup district. Police sources said that the arrested person has been identified as Amjad Ali of Kalatoli Pathar under Jorsimuli police outpost.  Acting on a tip off a team of police led by Jorsimuli police outpost Officer-in-Charge Bhaben Ch Baruah launched serach opertaion last at around 11.30 pm in the house of Ajgarh Ali at Kalatoli and arrested his 22-year-old  son Amjad with the pistol, police sources added. The police also detained Amjad's brother Alkas Ali and he is now under interrogation at Chaygaon police station.  "We are investigating into the case to find out from where he had collcted the pistol," said a police official.
