Play to be staged

Silchar, March 30: Barak Upatyaka Banga Sahitya O Sankriti Sammelan (BUBSOSS), Cachar district committee, has taken to initiative to stage Gonosur’s famous play ‘thbati Athboth’ at Banga Bhawan on Saturday. The play will start from 7 in the evening. Rumi Kar has been in the headlines for her outstanding performance in the play. The play is going to be staged at Banga Bhawan for the second time.

This is an opportunity for those who missed the earlier staging of the play. This information was shared at a press meet held at the office of Gonosur recently. Among others present at the press meet included Pradip Das, president, Bibash Roy, secretary, and Subroto Roy, of Gonosur. ‘thbati Athboth’ has been written by Shaoli Mitra and directed by Subroto Roy.
