PMAY beneficiaries get approval letters

SILCHAR, Jan 23: 794 Pradhan Mantri Awaash Yojya (PMAY) beneficiaries were issued their letters of approval recently. These beneficiaries belong to the 9 GPs of Binkandie block, Binkandieghat, Binkandie tea, Boali-Chengjur, Chotomanda, Dilkush tea estate, Kaptanpur, Pabda, Rupaibali and Singerband. The letters were issued in the presence of junior engineer Sudip Sarkar, in-charge BDO. As first installment, these beneficiaries will get Rs.32,000 for repairing houses which would be followed by two installments of Rs.78000 and Rs.19500 respectively. In total, they will get an amount of Rs.1.30 lakh. BJP leader Jawaharlal Ghosh, Gopal Rongmei and member of Zila Parishad was also present during the distribution ceremony.
