PMAY launched in Jorhat district

JORHAT, Jan 19:   Pradhan Mantri Awas  Yoja (PMAY) was launched at various places in  Jorhat district on Thursday. Member of Parliament , Jorhat parliamentary constituency, Kamakhya Prasad Tassa launched PMAY at Bhagchung Development Block office where MLA of Jorhat constituency, Hitendra th Goswami , MLA of Dergaon, Bhabendra th Bharali and development commissioner of Jorhat, Bonda Dutta Tamuli were present. “All needy people must be benefitted by Pradhan Mantri Awas Yoja , hence we are launching the scheme,” said MLA of Jorhat, Hitendra th Goswami. “A new era begins from today,” said MP Kamakhya Prasad Tassa. In the Kaliapani Development Block office, MLA of Teok constituency, Renupoma Rajkhowa launched PMAY and distributed sanction letters to beneficiaries at a meeting in presence of Additiol Deputy Commissioner Prabjit Kakoti.
