PMKVY programme held in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), July 19: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yoja (PMKVY) programme was held in Golaghat town recently, organized by Drishtree Skill Development Centre.

In a press statement, the divisiol commander of the organization, Lalit Gogoi said that PMKVY was flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).

The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to eble a large number of youths to take up in industry-relevant skill training which will help them in securing a better livelihood. Training and assessment fees are completely accommodated by the Government of India. Under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)-PMKVY, beneficiaries are pre-screened, counselled with orientation programme and assessed in accordance to the tiol Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). Drishtee Skill Development Centre has to conduct RPL under PMKVY for 30 beneficiaries in the various job roles across Golaghat.
