PM's effigy burnt at Nitaipukhuri

DEMOW, February 9:  The effigy of Prime Minister rendra Modi was burnt by protesters at  Nitaiphukhuri on Monday in protest against the use of the word ‘immigrants’ for the people from the Northeast living in Delhi in the BJP’s  Vision Document released ahead of the Delhi polls.  The president of Gossaiphukhuri Mandal Congress, Deben Sonowal, secretary Dipankar Hazarika, Priti Chutia, Hemanta Khanikar and Pramod Saikia too part in the protest. Also, under the leadership of Gossainphukhuri Anchalik Panchayat member nda Handique, a large number of activists shouted  Slogans against the BJP at Gossainbari Tea Estate Tili and burnt the effigy of Prime Minister rendra Modi.
