PMUY launched in Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon, June 30:  Prime Minister’s Ujjwala Yoja (PMUY) was launched in Bongaigaon district on Thursday. In this regard an open meeting was conducted at Bongaigaon District Library premises where several noted persons, including Biswajit Daimary, MP, Kamal Sing rzary, MLA, Bijni, Lee Singha, president, Bongaigaon ZPC, B N Das, Sales Mager of Indian Oil Corporation, and many others were presents.
Biswajit Pegu, Bongaigaon Deputy Commissioner gave the iugural speech. Total eight women beneficiaries were given free LPG connection. “This scheme will continue and total 4,000 women will be covered by this scheme in Bongaigaon district,” said Biswajit Pegu.
