PNB claim Beighton Cup

Kolkata, Oct 11: Punjab tiol Bank (PNB) on Sunday beat Indian Oil Corporation 5-3 in pelties to win the Beighton Cup hockey tourment at the Sports Authority of India ground here. At the end of regulation time, both teams were locked at 1-1. Satpal Gulia had put PNB infront in the 30th minute via a pelty corner and three minutes after the half-time, Deepak Thakur equalised through a field goal. In the pelty shoot-out, Arjun Antil scored twice, Hardeep Singh and veen Antil also netted once each while Shivdeep Singh missed his chance for PNB. For Indian Oil, Gagandeep Singh and Vikram Kanth scored one pelty each. Roshan Minz and Imran Khan missed their opportunities. IANS
