Poachers with country-made rifles bbed by SSB

Bongaigaon, March 9:  Four poachers were bbed by personnel of the 15th Battalion of the SSB from the Mas Reserve Forest along the Indo Bhutan Border in Chirang district today. Talking to press a SSB personnel said that they noticed the four poachers moving through the jungle. “We ordered them to stop but they tried to flee. But we succeeded in bbing them.” The poachers have been identified as Parameswar Barman (22), son of Late Prafulla Barman, Ranjan Barman(24), son of Ravinder Barman, Chandra  Biswas(22), son of Khagen Biswas and Barun Barman(24), son of Harkanta Barman. All the four arrested persons are residents of Duing Doilangjhar village under Panbari PS of Chirang district. Three country-made rifles have been recovered from their possession. During the interrogation they admitted that they hunt wild animal for meat,” the official said .
