Poetry book released

Bongaigaon, June 11: Stars shine only at night, a poetry book by Anindita Das was released on Saturday at a meeting held at the North Bongaigaon Mahila Samittee conference hall premises. The meeting was presided over by Nilima Choudhury, president of North Bongaigaon Mahila Samittee. The book was released by Sukriti Bhagawati, an eminent social worker and writer of Bongaigaon. Several noted persons including Dr Gobinda Das, eminent doctor and famous writer, Nilima th, eminent social worker and many others were present. Dr Gobinda Das in his speech said that this was good news for Bongaigaon that a poet like Anindita Das had evolved from Bongaigaon. “All the poetry in this book is of high quality. I hope her poems will bring glory not only to Bongaigaon or Assam, but also to India one day,” he said.
